In this class we tap into the never ending cycle of infinity, life, death, rebirth.  We are going to practice the Kirtan Kriya which is a 30 minute meditation involving mantra, mudra, and visulizatinon.   Before the meditation we will warm up and prepare the body for the meditation.  

Clinical research has shown that practicing Kirtan Kriya for just 12 minutes a day can improve cognition and activate parts of the brain that are central to memory. Replacing the Kirtan Kriya sounds with other sounds, or replacing the meditation as a whole with other relaxing tasks, has not been shown to be effective.

The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation believes that the various parts of Kirtan Kriya are each vital to the whole, and recommends practicing it in the traditional way to fully reap the benefits of the exercise. That said, other methods of reducing stress, like deep breathing, listening to music and other types of meditation may be beneficial to your health.” - Alzheimer’s research & prevention

Balance

As we move into unknown territories it is vital that we stay balanced.  In this class will Balance the Tattva’s which are the 5 elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether . Then we move into the Total Balance Kriya.   

When we think balance in the body - we come into the heart. The arms are the extensions of the heart so this class will have a lot of intense arm postures.  

After the Total Balance Kriya we will finish with the Tershula Kriya  which is a wonderful chanting meditation.  If time allows we will end with a 11 minute savasana.

Clear

Sometimes we need to work the body so we can clear the mind.   In this class we are going to energize the body and use that energy to clear the mind so we can magnetize our energy.   This class is curated with 3 different Kriyas. 

We will start with the Sodarshan Chakra Kriya.  Which is a powerful transformative meditation which is said to invoke the Kundalini energy to give you the necessary energy (vitality and intuition )to combat the negative effects of the subconscious mind.  It is a healing meditation that can increase your depth, dimension, caliber, and happiness. According to the tantra shastras, it also purifies your past karma and the subconscious impulses that may block you from fulfilling who you really are.  Then we will move into a gentle warm up.  Followed the Energize your system Kriya and then finish with Becoming Crystal Clear Kriya.

Awaken

This class is all about AWAKENING the body.  We will do this by opening our energy channels within the body calling in fresh energy to move and flow through the body. 

Throughout all of the postures, we are going to keep focus on the heart, lift it, open it.  Because the heart transforms the energy.   And the heart is how we stay open.  

In Kundalini we work the lymphatic system and the nervous system system.  In this class we will  be clear, direct, and intentional  with our movements, because we are directing energy within the body, moving it to where it needs to go.  We will do this internally -directing the energy to where it needs to go, making space, releasing what the body no longer needs, activating where it needs to be activated.  And once we start to do this internally  we will start to these externally in our environments.  

This class will start with a Pranayama breath clearing, then we will move into the Awaken the 10 bodies Kriya, and then we will end with a 10 minute savasana.

This Kundalini Journey will support and guide you through the contraction and expansion of life. As we move through this practice and articulate these tools in class, we create space within ourselves for this flow and then this space organically moves into our daily lives.
